Mittagong to Bundanoon

A short ride today through the Southern Highlands and the towns of Bowral, Moss Vale, Sutton Forest, Exeter and finally to Bundanoon.

The country is very green and many of the deciduous trees have either lost their leaves altogether or are in the early stages of changing colour.  When we left home 12 months ago the street trees were all showing the same early signs of autumn (see the picture on our Day 1 update page) so it will be interesting to see if they look the same when we return in 2 days time.

In looking at the picture of our bikes and the autumn leaves on our Day 1 update page it is interesting to see how much our bags have faded especially the yellow and orange tent bag and the yellow and orange bags on each of the trailers. These bags are now virtually colourless. In the 12 months we have been away we have replaced our safety flags four times. We will try and remember to take the same photo when we get home.

Zoom into the map and use the 'Satellite' layer to see our new location.

"Bundy on tap". Bundanoon has recently gone ' bottled water free' and installed these filtered water taps in the main street. Every place in Australia should do this.
