Latrobe to Devonport

Our last day in Tasmania and one of our shorter riding days.

We had a late checkout in Latrobe before heading for Devonport and the Spirit of Tasmania. Riding from Latrobe we followed River Road that follows the eastern side of the Mersey River to East Devonport. This was a pleasant ride, being mostly flat and with views over the river.

After a business lunch (yes we’re getting close to home) we met up with the Twaotts who are also booked on this evening’s Spirit crossing. We spent the afternoon sitting on the banks of the Mersey River, apprehensively watching the choppy sea.

Zoom into the map and use the 'Satellite' layer to see our new location.
