Ballarat to Baccus Marsh

An uneventful ride along the Western Freeway to Baccus Marsh. Some of the Ballarat locals had suggested we ride the back roads to Melbourne, however, the freeway sounded like it had less ups and downs and with nothing of interest to attract us on the back road we thought it would be quicker to ride along the freeway. It was not the quietest and most relaxing route but the 4-lanes and wide shoulder was not as busy as we had expected.
